Solomon's Island Rabbit Refuge, Inc., is a federal tax-exempt organization which depends on the public's donations of time and resources to rescue and care for homeless bunnies. Unable to adopt? You can help the refuge rabbits through sponsorships, donations, and volunteering at the shelter.

Our Wish List

Donations to Solomon's Island Rabbit Refuge are tax-deductible as permitted by federal law. Receipts are available for all donations. We welcome monetary donations as well as those of merchandise. Currently, the rescue is in need of the following items:

Bleach/bleach cleaner

Gift cards to Wal-mart and Tractor Supply Company

Sponsor a Refuge Rabbit

Donors are welcome to sponsor any of the rabbits residing at the refuge for as long as they wish. Sponsorships cost $20 a month. Sponsors receive a certificate and a photograph of their bunny of choice. Click on the "Sponsorship Application" link on the menu to the right or at the bottom of this page to fill out and submit an application to sponsor a refuge rabbit.

Volunteer

The refuge is always looking for dedicated individuals to assist with various activities, including cage cleaning, animal grooming and socialization, promoting the rescue, raising funds, and assisting with adoption events. Contact us to let us know your area of interest.
