We welcome foster homes for our refuge rabbits. Bunnies can flourish in a home environment with a loving family while awaiting adoption. Placing rabbits in foster homes also gives the refuge more opportunities to rescue animals in danger of euthanasia from shelters. Prospective fosterers must meet the same requirements as adopters. They are required to transport animals to adopt events. Solomon's Island Rabbit Refuge provides housing, care supplies, and medical care for all foster buns, although any donations made by the fosterer are greatly appreciated.
